State College

In State College, Teadori has quickly become a popular destination for boba lovers and those seeking an authentic Asian-inspired dining experience. With its doors open from noon to 2 AM on Friday and Saturday, Teadori offers not only refreshing milk teas and fruit teas but also a variety of delicious snacks and meals, creating the perfect post-dinner, dessert, or study spot. Led by owner Atlas Duong, a California native with years of experience in the boba industry, TeaDori has become a local gem.

Fresh Ingredients and Unique Flavors

Atlas Duong's journey with Teadori is deeply rooted in his passion for high-quality, fresh ingredients. Originally from California, Atlas opened shops across the U.S. before bringing his expertise to State College. His commitment to quality is evident in every sip, as Teadori’s drinks bring an elevated experience that boba fans can taste.

The Story Behind the Name “Teadori”

Teadori’s name reflects its focus on freshness. Inspired by the Japanese word midori—meaning “fresh and green”—the name captures the essence of what Atlas aims to bring to the community: fresh, high-quality teas that are vibrant and energizing.

A Flavorful, Expanding Menu

Originally focused solely on drinks, Teadori began adding Asian-inspired food to the menu, which has since become a major draw. The popcorn chicken was the first snack to gain popularity, followed by new hits like Korean fried chicken and katsu curry. Recently, Teadori introduced ramen to the menu, a comforting option perfect for State College’s chilly months. “I’d have to say our Korean fried chicken is my favorite,” Atlas shares. “It’s become a customer favorite alongside the popcorn chicken.”

In keeping with the shop’s Japanese-inspired theme, Atlas has plans to expand the menu further by introducing Japanese crepes, offering guests a fresh dessert option.

A Welcoming Spot for the Community

Beyond food and drink, Teadori provides a cozy space with WiFi, seating, and board games, inviting guests to relax, study, or unwind. “We wanted to create a place where people could come in after dinner or settle in to study,” says Atlas.

Atlas’s vision for Teadori is to create a lasting space where students, residents, and visitors can gather. With plans to grow the menu and explore new flavors, Teadori has already become a favorite spot in State College.
